Everywhere we turn in Wilmot, we see glimpses of the past – of 200 years of building, foundations, mill races, agriculture, commerce, and stone walls that surrounded early pastures.  The mission of the Wilmot Historical Society encourages us to engage with and stay connected to the people and timeline of our history.

We do this in many ways such as:

• recording audio and video stories of long-time Wilmot residents;

• updating our website with videos, documents, and photos;

• sponsoring presentations that explain and immerse us in our past;

• documenting the evolving past of our community;

• collecting & displaying artifacts that open doors to the Town’s history.
